Agricultural Surveys

The information you need

Because our drones are able to measure the amount of light plants absorb and reflect, beyond that possible with the human eye, we are able to show changes that can indicate earlier stages of plant distress than would be possible via other methods.

These vegetation indexes can be used to direct Farmers and Agronomists to areas of concern fast and allow earlier and targeted treatment actions.

Delivered fast

For a typical 30 acre field multispectral reports, identifying potential areas for further inspection, can be ready within 40 minutes of arrival.

Providing real time data quickly, reduces the time spent walking the fields, leading to faster analysis and treatment decisions.

On reviewing the reports our drones can be sent back to specific locations to take high resolution images, further assisting in the quick analysis of route causes of plant stress and timely treatment decisions.

Easy to understand

Survey results are presented as a graded colour chart, providing an easy to read snap shot of crop health and clearly showing where further investigation is required.

Compatible GPS agricultural machinery can use this same information to dispense pre determined amounts of treatment only where required to avoid unnecessary use of expensive chemicals and feeds.

Quick to verify

Having highlighted areas of concern Humii drones can quickly be airborne again, flying directly to these locations to take high resolution images, as well as offering live feed of crops.

This post mission scouting further helps understand the reasons for differing vegetation indexes and helps agronomists and farmers prioritise where they carry out physical inspections and supporting faster decisions regarding crop treatment.

and much more

As well as showing you what is going on right now, the data collected by our drones can help support longer term decisions, such as identifying where improved irrigation or drainage may be required.

Understanding the performance of crop growing areas that can be used to support decisions around the current Basic Payment Scheme as well as the new Environmental Land Management Scheme (ELMS).
